My husband received the CCSVI treatment, although it did improved his walking for a short time, it definitely helped his activities of daily living. His mood changed, he had colour, warmth and feeling, in his feet and hands. They were no longer like cold bricks. He was already secondary progressive when he received the treatment. He knew it wasn’t a cure; but it improved his quality of life immensely. This same treatment is done for Diabetics quite frequently. It is not a cure but improves quality of life, is that not worth something. The drugs they were using at the time were worse than the disease, in some cases. Some people had great success with the treatment and some not so; but he thought worth a try. Sadly, he died of a rapid cancer, but was able to complete his own care up to three months before he passed. He was always grateful for his CCSVI treatment.

First off, I loved the show Monk! The music was great, wasn't it? I for one think it's wonderful he found some relief and healing. There are so many healing modalities and procedures that are not covered by insurance or "approved." But I believe we need to be our own advocates when it comes to our health. Most of us have our own internal wisdom and we should let it guide us.
