I like taking a break from social media when I go on vacation. I haven't got any devices for when I'm away from home, I take pictures and keep an old-fashioned paper journal and recount my adventures when I get back - I like the connectedness that social media gives but every now and then it also feels good to just focus entirely on the real world.

That must have been a difficult decision to make, but I"m sure it's the right one for you. Migraines, and any pain, is so disabling. I hope you find a way to your new form of wellness - the best that you can find. You deserve that.

Today my legs are aching and weak and I am tired despite 7 hours of sleep. That's the nature of my MS. But this event is the mecca of all I do, and I want/need to go. However I was also invited to another event later this month which I had to decline. It would be too much to fly again in the same month.

Life is all about choices, and our health always comes first. In a perfect world we'd do whatever we want. But in the real world, let's keep taking care of ourselves.
